Niepoort Harvest 2001 is a long and complex wine, with flavours of fresh fruit and spices, a very lively acidity and a long, elegant finish. The 2001 year allowed a slow maturation of the grapes, as it had a hot summer, which has originated the production of fresh and elegant wines. The aging period occurred during 9 years in barrels with more than 50 years. It is an harvest wine that can be served as an appetizer or ain the end of a meal.
