It is a wine that, although can be enjoyed as young, it has a fantastic potential to age beautifully over the next decades, where you can appreciate fully all its qualities. The grapes for this wine production were stepped by foot and then placed to age in large wooden casks for about 2 years before being bottled. The Niepoort Secundum Vintage 2000 is produced from the grape varieties of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão and Tinta Roriz.
