The arbutus trees from the surrounding villages of Serra da Estrela are the main source of quality for this premium brandy. After harvesting, the fruit is crushed and fermented. After fermentation, the arbutus is carefully distilled in a traditional copper still, resulting in a final product of superior quality and inevitably limited quantity.
