Red Wine Código Ancestral 75cl

A juicy wine, full of fruity personality! Delicate and crisp, based on a unique version of a batch of Jean and Tinta Pinheira.

Vinification: Batch dominated by Jaen, around 80%, completed by Tinta Pinheira. Jaen, fermented, destemmed, in stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation in the mass was not completed, to preserve the fruit and delicate tannins. Tinta Pinheira fermented in a wine press with around 15% whole bunch. Batch made after alcoholic fermentation was completed. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks, and then racked. Always kept in stainless steel, until a light pre-bottling filtration.

Tasting Notes

Medium-intensity ruby, bright violet rim. Intense notes of fresh red fruit – blackberries, crushed strawberries, light herbal notes, cherry, fragrant and beautifully complex. Crisp, fresh and intense acidity on the palate. Delicate, smooth and crunchy tannins. Excellent combination, good balance and a long finish.
